Why are the back pockets of trousers sewn shut?Updated 9 days ago
Several of our trousers arrive with the back pockets sewn shut using a temporary baste stitch. This is intentionally done to help prevent wrinkles, stretching, snags, or distortion during display, storage, and shipping. The stitching is easily removable by hand, with a seam ripper, or carefully using a sharp, thin blade.
